CITIZEN SOLDIER

When I think of Memorial day I automatically think of the military and how they risk there lives for strangers. They fight for each and every one of us when they go to war and are willing to fight till death for us, some even do. So I would like to dedicate this post to them. I saw this song in a theater once when I was watching a movie for a job, and I love it! So today this is for those men and women who go and fight for our freedoms and our rights each and every day. Thank you!

DAY 4

ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE

The main reason I chose this song today is because we watched across the universe and I love this show and also because I have always love the Beetles, we grew up with hearing it all the time and dad making us sing in the car along with them. But also I agree with this song not in the fact that all you need is love as in the love of my life, but I think we all do need love, in general. We need our family to love us and support us and even just be there to give us a hug on a bad day. We need our friends to love us and be there when there is no one else we can tell our issues to and to love us when we do stupid things in public. And one day we all do need to find the love of our life. I have not had that opportunity yet but its okay, until then I have the family and friends to love me for all my quarks and... just for being myself.

All I need is love to make me happy everyday, What about you?

When I Watched the Glee season finale and Rachel sang this song I could not help but cry and now again when I listened to it it brought back the same emotions. Not because it was a sad episode of Glee but because this is really how I feel and its a very emotional touching song....This is my song for today. The lyrics will explain why I chose this.

DAY 2

HOLD of MY HEART

So y'all might think im crazy and dumb not to mention. So I was listening to this song in my car and loved it because instead of her saying Hold of my heart I thought she said Hole in my heart....hahaha anyways now that I know the real lyrics im gonna save the pain of an explanation but this is my song for day 2 haha....Better luck next time 

Ok so maybe I will give a little explanation of what I thought when I thought it was the other lyrics..... Lately I have been so sad because it seems like in the past month or two so many people are leaving my life, friends, boys, family, etc.... and I am just the kind of person that does not just like to get rid of people when I decide to be friends with someone I stay friends with them for years and years. So it has been a tough one and when I listen to music it changes my perspective on things(even when I dont know the right words lol)

DAY 1

I NEED THEE EVERY HOUR

The reason I chose this song as my first one is because today when I decided to actually do this challenge and said that I would post the fist song tonight....I thought after oh crap....I am not sure what song I should put up. Well as the day went by one of my very good friends asked me if I was going to go to Our church Institute class and since I have been having a hard week I thought that would be a great idea. Well as we where singing the opening Hymn (There is Sunshine in my Soul Today) I thought, how even though this week has been hard my Heavenly Father got me through and I am so thankful for Him. No matter what im going through if its good or bad I need Him by my side. Then as we where going through the class this scripture was brought up that just made this song even more meaningful. It is in John 14:18 and it says I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. I know my Heavenly Father and His son Jesus Christ love me and I would not be where I am without them, so it is only appropriate to have my day 1 of my 365 dedicated to Him!

 

365 Day Challange

So I know me and my sister where doing this together....She is more than welcome to still post but I have decided to start a 365 day challenge, and I finally came up with an idea as I did some research online. So my official 365 challenge is....*drum roll*....To choose a different song every day that is my song of the day and blog about it :-) I think it will be fun and it involves something I love, Music! I hope y'all can join in on this adventure with me as I post new and old music that is kind of a diary of my life for a year! I will make my first post this evening!
